Chinese woman pictured carrying her boyfriend on her back while crossing a flooded street so 'he won't ruin his expensive leather shoes'

Love they say, is blind but not so much as in the case of one devoted girlfriend. A lady in China was pictured wading deep flood waters while carrying her boyfriend on her back, her reason? She didn't want her beloved to suffer the loss of his expensive shoes.
The woman told Chinese media: 'I am wearing sandals so it doesn't matter that I cross the waterlogged area. He was wearing leather shoes which have to be washed laboriously [if they are soaked]. So it was easier that I carry him to cross the water.'  He could have just taken his shoes off though, lol.
