Earlier Mr Dikko acknowledge ownership of an apartment in Abuja and expensive farm in his native Katsina state. Sources close to the former comptroller-general say that he is suffering from prostate cancer at the terminal stage. Nigeria anti-graft agencies are currently investigating Mr Dikko’s lowdown. A person involved in the negotiations revealed that the former public officer was not arrested or taken into custody to avoid his death in detention, making it harder to recover his assets from the United Arab Emirates.
